Glow Client Kim Carroll Wins Gold!

Composer Kim Carroll Wins Gold Medal for ‘The Colony’ at the 5th Annual Park City Film Music Festival

Los Angeles, CA (February 5, 2008) – The original music of the dramatic thriller ‘The Colony’ (distributed by Fox Searchlab) by writer/director Steven List was honored at the 5th Annual Park City Music Festival with a gold medal awarded to composer Kim Carroll. The Park City Film Music Festival is the first film festival in the world singularly recognizing the contribution of composers and their music to film, and the first of such festivals in the Americas.

“Kim Carroll’s score to ‘The Colony’ clearly demonstrated how much of a vital part of the film it really was,” states Leslie Harlow, festival director of the Park City Film Music Festival. “It enhanced the emotional impact of the film and was terribly effective in getting across the director’s intentions.”
